At Global Village we offer high quality, stylish furniture and home accessories made where possible, from either recycled or 100% natural materials, many of which are designed and manufactured exclusively for Global Village.

Global Village, started by Martin and Colette Lenehan, first opened its doors in 1989 and twenty one years on has two eclectic stores located in Enniskerry and Kimmage. The couple spotted an opportunity for affordable, stylish furniture with a natural focus, eclipsing the essence of multicultural tastes.

Since opening in 1989 we have been continually developing our products to provide simple but affordable furniture and accessory designs.

We pride ourselves on the relentless pursuit of directly sourcing and working closely with manufacturers all round the world to create sought after Western designs, where simple clean lines provide a feeling of decadence with a hint of the exotic.

Global Village has a core collection of furniture designs in dining, living and bedroom which included; handmade, bespoke furniture from France, available in a rainbow of hand painted finishes; contemporary accessories in sliver chrome and jet black from the Netherlands; solid mahogany reproduction antique pieces with a beautiful burl walnut finish; a comprehensive French country hand painted bedroom and kitchen collection, and of course the sumptuous sofas and luxurious leather chairs, huge on comfort and style.

In addition we have recently extended our accessories range to create a collection of unusual, stylish, yet practical items to compliment the furniture. Sourced worldwide but primarily from the Far East, the emphasis remains on natural and elegant materials. Choose from striking lacquer ware, woven goods, photo frames and Buddha figures, fabulous lamps, bed and table linen, cushions, ceramics, prints, paintings, mirrors, the list is endless.

Global Village are celebrating twenty two rewarding years in business and looking forward to twenty two more.
